Cap Baccatum. Mild - Very hot. Also known as Bishop's Crown. Much admired for its striking appearance. Each plant sets around 100 2" (5cm) flange shaped fruits. Slow to mature but worth it. 5' (1.5m) + high. Heat strength variable. One of the most successful varieties we have tried to over-winter.

How to grow

Sow thinly January-March at 28C in cells or trays. Cover lightly with compost or vermiculite. Pot on into 9cm (3½”) pots when 2 sets of true leaves show. Transplant to larger pots/growing site when roots show at bottom of pot. When flowers show feed weekly with tomato food.
