This is a good way of keeping rabbits, deer, pigeons and geese off your prize plants. It was originally developed for farmers but was more recently made in 'garden' sizes. Colin and Jane have used it for over a year in their own garden where deer and rabbits have been a nuisance. They have found it good, though it could never be a substitute for a 6ft wall!

Start by 2 - 3 sprays at 3 day intervals then spray plants roughly every 6 weeks but remember, and this is important, to re-spray after heavy rain as, though it is systemic, rain will dilute its effectiveness.

Suppliers say that a 250ml bottle will give one application for ½ an acre but since you only spray specific plants a bottle should last a season in a small garden.
