Simpson's Seeds

We are a small family company with a wonderful catalogue full of seeds and plantlets – many of which are unavailable elsewhere – and all of these can be bought on-line.

We have a huge range of peppers, both hot and sweet and tomatoes of all sizes, shapes and colours, aubergines, salad leaves and squash as well as most other vegetables. On the decorative side we sell a range of ‘useful flowers’ to help keep the bugs away and some colourful annuals for pots and cutting. We also have a range of hardy perennials and decorative grasses that are easy to grow from seed.

Our aim is simple. It is to sell good fresh seed and healthy plants of the best-tasting vegetables that (in most cases) we have tried ourselves and flowers that we would like to grow in our own gardens.

Our secondary aim is to look after our customers in the most friendly and personal way we can. In short, to be the kind of company we would like to use!

Until recently we have been ‘mail order only’. Lack of space at our previous premises in Surrey prompted the move to The Walled Garden near Warminster, Wiltshire, in 2001. You can visit the nursery and buy everything listed in the catalogue as well as many larger plants that would be difficult to send by post.
